February 2020 – Faith Leaders Training
Our team partnered with House of Bread Church in Southwark, to deliver mental health and wellbeing training to members of the local Black community. This opened up discussions around the impact of culture, stigma, racism and discrimination, and spirituality on the experience of mental health and illness among Black people.

2019 – Spirituality & Mental Health Training
Our team and Dr Cameron Langlands, Head of Chaplaincy at South London and Maudsley NHS Trust delivered training for NHS staff and members of the local community.

2019 – RCPsych Mental Health Services and the African and African Caribbean Diaspora Conference
We joined other researchers and organisations at a conference showcasing some amazing projects addressing the impact of discrimination on mental health in the Black community and how to combat this.
